Hardy variety, does not flower!
Easy to care for
It belongs to the succulent family, its leaves have crimson edges,
which makes it unique. It sometimes produces yellow flowers, but it is
mainly kept for its foliage.
The plant requires a well-ventilated location with a temperature of 10-16 degrees during the day. Keep it in a
cool place in winter! It likes strong but not glaring light. Allow the soil to dry out between
waterings! In winter, when dormant, it only
needs enough water to prevent it from shriveling. During the growing season, feed it
every two weeks with houseplant fertilizer! Do not feed it during dormancy! In spring,
repot it in a mixture of peat, sand, and potting soil! Pinch
off the shoot tips to encourage side shoots to grow. The plant tends to shed its lower
leaves, resulting in a spindly plant with a few leaves at the top.
Leaf drop can be caused by cold air or woolly aphids attacking the
roots.
